Directed by Sriram Raghavan, Badlapur shows that we are flawed as human beings and some of us can go to any extent to inflict pain in the name of vengeance. This blood laced revenge action drama was not only critically acclaimed but also a box office success.
Badlapur revolves around a young advertising professional, Raghu (Varun Dhawan) who loses his wife Misha (Yami Gautam) and his son during a bank robbery. Of the two robbers, Liak (Nawazuddin Siddiqui) is caught and sentenced for several years but refuses to reveal the identity of his partner in crime, Harman (Vinay Pathak) who manages to escape. Raghu shattered from the loss of his family, directs all his energy at getting back at both the culprits.
