ETMoney’s Kings of Comedy are Clowns of FinanceThe Comedy Connect Campaign uses farce to highlight the complexities of finance – that ETMoney’s app simplifies

ETMoney will be launching a series of short videos that explore the fun element to managing finances with ETMoney – The Wolves of LOL Street. In a series of short 2–minute episodes 6 comedians who think they are not making enough money decide to start a financial consultancy firm.

The comedians make presentations covering topics like Simplifying Financial Terms, Tax Savings and Spends Tracking to a boardroom filled with senior analysts and financial experts – The presentations are full of bad puns and ridiculous advice – leading to very comic situations, such as humorously revealing three different sized baseball caps to explain the concepts of ‘Large, Mid and Small Caps’.

Speaking about the new campaign, Mr. Pratik Mazumder, Marketing Head, Times Internet says, “After establishing a connect with cricket with Batting for Money, The Wolves of LOL Street is our attempt to present the serious and somewhat scary personal finance space to our target audience in a lighter way. What better way than to come up with a series of short videos with some of the leading stand-up comedians from East India Comedy and explore the fun side of managing finances.”

Speaking of the campaign, Mukesh Kalra, CEO, ETMoney says, “Driven by the consumer insight that millennials’ consumption of short comedy content is growing rapidly, this campaign, in partnership with East India Comedy, is an innovative way to create ETMONEY brand connect.”

These shorts will run on Facebook and Youtube and will be cross promoted across social media and various content publishers including Indiatimes, MensXP, TimesofIndia and EconomicTimes.
