Sony MAX brings the biggest superstars to give you life lessons with inspiring movies Sui Dhaaga and Not Out

This month, stand witness to two such films on Sony MAX that remind us what our dreams can manifest into, if pursued with sheet dedication and intent.

Sui Dhaaga: Made In India

The story revolves around newly married couple Mauji (Varun Dhawan) and Mamta (Anushka Sharma) who choose to fight against all odds and embark upon an inspiring journey of entrepreneurship. Mamta helps Mauji rediscover his self worth as the two pick up their long lost family business of tailoring and walk a rather rocky path of unemployment to self-employment replete with difficulties and unsupportive relatives. Sui Dhaaga pays homage to the daily-struggles and conflicts of small business owners and presents solutions that can fix the most unusual circumstances. Mauji and Mamta’s dream of creating a ‘Made In India’ brand with minimal resources and an undying can-do spirit is just what you need to get back on your feet and prove the naysayers wrong. A brilliant sports drama with multiple inspiring messages, Not Out presents itself as the perfect blend of cricket, inspiration and a beautiful father-daughter bond. When a regular farmer’s daughter dreams of becoming an international cricket player to fulfill her father’s dreams, she is met with obstacles at every crossroad. From facing misogyny in her village for playing cricket as a girl, to facing financial troubles, to internal politics in the cricketing committee, Kausalya endures it all. But will she stand on the pitch with her bat and fulfill her father’s dream of representing India at the world stage? Find out on 23rd January at 8PM only on Sony MAX, as Aishwarya Rajesh delivers a splendid performance. Joining her in this journey is Murugesan (Sathyaraj) a doting and supportive father, who also brings to life the struggles of a farmer, in a character that’s sure to leave you emotional yet motivated.
