Johri, Baghin, 48, Kesariya, Ansuni are 5 new shows that are going on floors!
Atrangii App and TV, helmed by Vibhu Agarwal, have announced five new exciting shows for the new year. To further bolster their exhaustive content offering, the platform is gearing up to produce a slew of shows for 2023 spanning genres, with stellar star cast and unique storytelling. Each show will be a finite series, packed with slick production values and have established establish actors playing lead role. These series will definitely keep the audiences gripped and entertained.
48
48 is slated to be a high-octane political thriller, that showcases a relationship dynamic between a mother and a son contesting in the playground of politics. This political saga is full of Love, revenge, conspiracy, manipulation, corruption, and betrayal. The show will go on floors in March 2023.
Kesariya – Rang Mein Tere Rang Jaaoon Piya
Kesariya is Atrangii’s finite series about a young girl whose marriage gets broken due to her manglik curse in her horoscope. To turn her fate around, she ends up into contract marriage with a 40 year old man. The story revolves around this married couple and how they face many roadblocks in their life. The show will go on floors in February 2023.
Ansuni
Ansuni is Atrangii’s first ever reality show. A unique chat show where audiences can come and bring forth their issues and problems like marriage, infidelity, family issues, workplace harassment to discuss and look for guidance to resolve it. The show will have a celebrity host and will encourage audiences to come and confide in him, who in turn will help them with solutions. This show will have people from all over the country and various backgrounds, come on national television to discuss their issue. The show will go on floors in March 2023.
Johri
Atrangii has teamed up with ace content production house Endemol Shine India to churn out a cutting edge thriller at the backdrop of a bank fraud. Johri has talented star cast of Nishant Malkani and Charu Asopa in lead roles will be helmed by the acclaimed director Partho Mitra. ‘Johri’ is a saga of an ordinary man becoming a diamond mogul, it is a tale of bank scams, frauds and glamour at its finest. The series captures one man’s ambition, his greed, his manipulations of the system, his plush lifestyle and lavishness of his business, his rise and equally dramatic fall.
Baghin
The next in line, the app will bring for the audiences ‘Baghin’ the battle between MAN vs BEAST. For the first time on Indian Television and OTT, the heroine is possessed by the spirit of a Baghin (a tigress)! In this supernatural vendetta story, the hunter will become hunted as the protagonist a BAGHIN commences on a journey of revenge on the people who were responsible for her killing. Actor Ansh Bagri will be essaying the male lead.
