IMDb is hosting its first-ever exclusive portrait and video studio in India at the 2023 Jio MAMI Mumbai Film Festival, expanding their on-the-ground presence at leading festivals around the world. The studio aims to give fans a virtual front-row seat to all the latest news, titles and stars at MAMI.
On the opening night of the Jio MAMI Mumbai Festival 2023, IMDb captured portraits of special guests, celebrities and filmmakers, including Kareena Kapoor Khan, the star of the opening film The Buckingham Murders. Celebrities including Rajkummar Rao, Aditi Rao Hydari, Bhumi Pednekar, Sanya Malhotra, and Vijay Varma too visited the studio. Others who made an appearance included Rohit Saraf, Dia Mirza, Arjun Rampal, Sobhita Dhulipala, and many more. Below, we’ve included a link with hi-res imagery from the first day.
At the IMDb Portrait Studio, Arjun Rampal shared what inspires him at this stage of his career. He said, “Making the best films for my kids.”
Arjun additionally revealed that, “Joe Mascarenhas from Rock On is the character I relate to the most.” Arjun revealed, “I would do anything to work with Mr Bachchan.” On what surprised him the most this year, he said, “That I could do Telugu titles.”
