Times Network Crosses 100 million users across platforms on Comscore

The Network’s Digital business has achieved remarkable growth of 168% since February 2024

In a significant development, Times Network, India’s premium broadcast network, emerged as the leading digital news publisher, amassing 104 million monthly unique users across digital platforms (Comscore: August 2024). Offering innovative content formats with digital first initiatives, Times Network has set an industry benchmark by surpassing legacy digital players, including NDTV (99 million unique users), ABP Network (89 million unique users), Jagran (86 million unique users), and Indian Express (77 million unique users), reinforcing its leadership across general and business news segments.

Times Network Digital, witnessed an impressive 168% growth since February 2024, in comparison to only 4% average growth for the rest of the industry. The surge was led by its best-in-class English and Hindi news, entertainment & lifestyle brands namely TimesNow.in, ETNow.in, TimesNowNavbharat.in, Zoomtv.com and Digit.in. The platforms offer a personalized news experience, consumer-centric explainers, digital-first initiatives, live interactive segments, well-rounded insights, diverse engagement tools, expert opinions, Artificial Intelligence and Augmented Reality powered content amongst others. The Network’s ability to scale new acquisitions is evident in the fact that in a short span of 3 months, Digit.in, the recently acquired tech platform, has delivered an impressive growth of 160%.

Expanding its reach, Times Network Digital’s recent foray into regional languages, including Marathi, Telugu, Tamil, and Bangla, offers a wide range of localized content tailored to consumer needs. The Network will further bolster its reach by expanding into more Indian languages such as Malayalam, Kannada amongst others.

Times Network continued its rapid expansion into diverse verticals with the launch of TimesDrive.in, focused on auto news, and HealthandMe.com, catering to health and wellness. These new platforms build on the company’s success in technology news, following its strategic acquisition of Digit.in. With this growth, the network aims to deliver specialized, high-quality content to meet the evolving interests of its audience across key industries.

Times Network Digital continues its leap in the digital news landscape with a steadfast focus on quality journalism and audience engagement. Earlier this year, Times Network emerged as the fastest-growing digital video news network in the country, with a monthly reach exceeding 4 billion across its channels.
