News18 Odia is proud to present the latest edition of ‘Rising Odisha’, a premier platform that highlights the state’s growth story while addressing the unique challenges that shape its development journey. The event is scheduled to take place on August 19, 2025, from 4:00 PM onwards.

Continuing the legacy of impactful dialogue and collaboration, Rising Odisha 2025 will celebrate Odisha’s progress across diverse sectors and facilitate key discussions on the way forward.

This premier leadership conclave will bring together Odisha’s top political leaders, policymakers, industry experts, and thought leaders for engaging conversations focused on the state’s development trajectory and emerging opportunities.

The event will feature keynote addresses, exclusive interviews, and thought-provoking panel discussions on key themes including governance, economic growth, tourism, exports, skill development, sports, and cultural heritage. Mohan Charan Majhi, Chief Minister of Odisha, will grace the occasion as the Chief Guest and Keynote Speaker.

The distinguish lineup of the event includes a series of impactful sessions such as interview with Deputy Chief Minister K.V. Singh Deo, holding the Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers’ Empowerment and the Ministry of Energy, Deputy Chief Minister Pravati Parida (First Women Dy CM of Odisha, holding the portfolios of the Ministry of Women and Child Development, Mission Shakti, and Ministry of Tourism). Other detailed interview sessions with Sampad Chandra Swain, Minister of State for Industries, Skill Development and Technical Education, Suresh Pujari, Minister of Revenue & Disaster Management. There will also be comprehensive conversations with Suryavanshi Suraj, Minister of Higher Education, Sports & Youth Services, Odia Language & Culture, and Anubhav Mohanty, a beloved Odia film superstar and former MP. A debate featuring Manmohan Samal (President, Odisha State BJP), Bhakta Charan Das (President, Odisha Pradesh Congress Committee), and Debi Prasad Mishra (Sr. Vice President, BJD) will offer diverse perspectives on the state’s direction for development.
