Network18 has named Group General Counsel Kshipra Jatana as its representative on the board of the News Broadcasters & Digital Association (NBDA), replacing the company’s Managing Director Rahul Joshi.
Jatana heads legal, policy and regulatory affairs at Network18 and also works across the wider group. She oversees regulatory and government affairs matters across the group’s businesses and joint ventures.
In her current role, Jatana plays a key part in shaping the group’s legal and regulatory strategy, supporting business growth and strengthening its governance frameworks.
She has extensive experience handling legal, regulatory and policy matters across the media industry.
Before joining Network18, she was General Counsel and Head of M&A at MIH India. She has also worked with Star TV and law firm AZB & Partners.
Rahul Joshi has been with Network18 since September 2015 and currently serves as its Managing Director. Under his leadership, the group expanded its news broadcasting and digital operations across brands including CNBC-TV18, CNN-News18, News18 India, Moneycontrol and Firstpost.
