India Today Group will organise the India Today Roundtable – Keralam on September 17, bringing together Chief Minister V.D. Satheesan and prominent voices from politics, governance, culture and student leadership for a meaningful dialogue on the state’s future. The Chief Minister will outline his vision, governance agenda and priorities for the next phase of Keralam’s development.
Through a series of insightful and wide-ranging sessions, the roundtable will examine the key political, social and developmental forces shaping Keralam. The discussions will span leadership, governance, development, public aspirations and politics, offering diverse perspectives on the issues and opportunities defining the state.
The event will feature an opening session with Chief Minister V.D. Satheesan, followed by discussions on Keralam’s education model with Higher Education Minister Roji M John, the state’s development and infrastructure journey with Transport Minister C.P. John, and women’s empowerment featuring actor Gouri G Kishan, MLA Fathima Thahiliya and Panchayat Secretary Gouri R.
Lalji.The roundtable will also delve into Keralam’s cultural identity and governance model, with classical dancer and researcher Methil Devika and Minister M Liju. The afternoon sessions will feature a Gen Z conversation with representatives from KSU, ABVP and SFI, followed by a discussion on Keralam’s growth story, bringing together senior government officials, Kerala State Planning Board member G. Vijaya Raghavan, entrepreneur Nanoo Viswanadhan and Tony Thomas of EQT Group.
The concluding sessions will focus on women and child development, sporting excellence with para-athlete Mohammed Basil, minority issues and the state’s political landscape, featuring MB Rajesh, BJP Kerala President Rajeev Chandrasekhar and Home Affairs Minister Ramesh Chennithala.
