Khumaar Musical Nite happening on Saturday, 21st September 2024 at 4 pm at St, Andrews Auditorium Bandra.
This is the 19th year of Khumaar and all the editions have enjoyed the status of a HOUSEFULL SHOW. What is more important is it happens to be the centenary year of Mohammed Rafi Saab, the legendary playback singer and Khumaar is celebrating this momentous occasion with a mega show that will have eight singers, five of which are from cities other than Mumbai.
Bipin R Pandit is instituting a Mohammed Rafi Award that will be presented to a Playback singer, Lyricist or a Music Director every year. The first award will be presented to the late and great Mahendra Kapoor who was a true disciple of Rafi Saab and a legendary singer of the golden era of music. His handsome son Ruhaan Kapoor who is a film actor and singer of merit has agreed to receive the award. Khumaar as always will be unique in its style of presentation and segmentation of songs. The choice of songs has always been the highlight of the show. The show has already generated lots of interest and created a huge buzz.

It will be a delight to present the first Mohammed Rafi Saab Award to the late and legendary Mahendra Kapoor whose son Ruhaan will do the honors of accepting the same.
