MY FM has started a new initiative in collaboration with Maha Yogi Akshar Nath- a youth-icon & Yoga-guru
In the present scenario, where struggling with uncertainty and fear have become the daily routine, MY FM has taken the responsibility to help people lead a healthy and happy life. As an initiative for the ‘new normal’, the radio network has joined hands with Grandmaster Akshar for taking live yoga sessions digitally, through MY FM’s Facebook handle. The sessions take place twice a week, at 7 in the morning.
MY FM aims to engage the nation for a ‘Yoga-revolution’ with this initiative. Maha Yogi Akshar Nath, also known as Grandmaster Akshar, is a youth-icon and one of the youngest Spiritual Guides and yoga-based entrepreneurs in India, having practiced yoga since the age of six.
These yoga sessions are aimed at healing daily issues of the common man. Every week different topics are covered- from mental health, building immunity through yoga, to strengthening the core and addressing common issues like back pain etc. This is a 4-week series; people can join-in every Thursday and Friday at 7am on MY FM’s official FB page.
Commenting on the initiative, Mr. Rahul Namjoshi, COO, MY FM, says “In such stressful times, people are having anxiety issues which in turn is affecting their health, apart from encountering other regular ailments. Yoga helps release negativity and bring-in positivity and balance in life. MY FM hopes to revolutionize Yoga for the youth and make it their daily routine. ‘Live Yoga with Grand Master Akshar’ not only engages the youth, but also inspires them to have a positive outlook towards life.”
