In an endeavor to honour the meritorious performance of healthcare providers, CNBC-TV18, along with ICICI Lombard today presented the most coveted India Healthcare Awards in the presence of stalwarts of the Indian healthcare industry. The event was presided over by the honourable Chief Minister of Maharashtra, Mr. Devendra Fadnavis and Dr. Bindeshwar Pathak, Founder, Sulabh International graced the occasion as the keynote speaker.
CNBC-TV18 in partnership with ICICI Lombard General Insurance instituted the India Healthcare Awards in 2010 to honour and recognize the healthcare providers in the country who are doing a great job in this field. This Award, now in its 6th year, has become the most definitive award in the healthcare space with over 90 winners till date.
The nominees were judged by an independent jury comprising experts from the medical field while the job of collecting and collating data was entrusted to India’s well known market research agency IMRB. The Jury comprised eminent personalities like Dr. Annaswamy Vaidheesh, Managing Director and Vice President of South Asia, GlaxoSmithkline, Kewal Handa, Chairman, Medybiz Pharma, D G Shah, Secretary General, Indian Pharmaceutical Alliance and Sudarshan Ballal, Chairman, Manipal Health Enterprises.
