Hindustan Unilever Limited (HUL) was named ‘Corporate Trailblazer’ at the 5th edition of India Today’s Safaigiri Awards 2019.
Priya Nair, Executive Director, Home Care, Hindustan Unilever Limited received the award on behalf of the Company at an event organised in New Delhi.
HUL was honoured for ‘… creating awareness and infrastructure in health and sanitation’. This is yet another recognition of the Company’s belief in ‘Doing Well by Doing Good.’ Purpose-driven brands Lifebuoy and Domex were cited for their initiatives on WASH (Water Sanitation and Hygiene). In fact, HUL’s ‘Start A Little Good’ campaign that promotes water conservation and plastic waste management was also lauded.
