International Award-winning TV stalwart, TedxTalks speaker and co-author of TV Brand Builders, the definitive guide to global best practice in television design Charlie Mawer regularly leads conference sessions on the topics of branding, design and creative communications.
Charlie has overall creative responsibility at Red Bee. He has led complex network re-brands for the BBC, UKTV, Virgin Media and NBC Universal, and campaigns for Doctor Who 50th, Comic Relief, Fox Turkey, FX Channel, RTÉ and BBC World. A branded content pioneer, he created TV series for Ikea, Renault and the COI. More recent work for brands includes Bacardi, Barclays and Hyundai.

By day, Gavin is a Director and Designer for the UK’s beloved creative studio Aardman Animations. By night he goes under the alias of JamFactory, indulging in all manner of passion projects, from filmmaking to illustration, toy design to photography.
In this absolutely unique and entertaining session, Gavin says making the work is the easy part, finding the time is the difficult bit. Gavin shares his stories and methods behind getting the most out of those pesky 24 hours, conveyed via the medium of bright colours and animated GIFs! A masterclass in time management and how to make the best of your day….

HaZ was later hired to direct the pilot for Disney’s action comedy mini-series – FAST LAYNE and was also credited as creative consultant on the entire series and directed three additional episodes when he wowed Disney channel executives with his vision for the 8-part series. Other credits include directing the short bridge film – DESCENDANTS – UNDER THE SEA for Disney and directing a segment in the sci-fi horror anthology PORTALS.
He is currently developing genre TV, Feature and animation projects utilising virtual production and Unreal Engine, his understanding of utilising groundbreaking technology with storytelling has recently led him to go into production as the director on the CG animated feature film adaptation of the acclaimed video game Mutant Year Zero.
HaZ is repped in Hollywood by The Gotham Group, and is the co-founder of production company HaZ Film.
