The One Club for Creativity, the world’s foremost nonprofit organization whose mission is to support the global creative community, announced a major agreement with CapCut, part of ByteDance, to serve as the club’s premier global AI partner.
CapCut is a leading AI-powered photo and video editing app for everyone, available for desktop, mobile, and pad. The fast-growing platform provides users with a complete package that includes graphic design, team collaboration, and more, with advanced AI technology infused at every turn.
The partnership encompasses four of the club’s major global awards shows, where CapCut’s involvement will include:
Creation of a new custom category in the upcoming Art Directors Club’s ADC Annual Awards, to be announced in October;
Serving as presenting partner of ADC Young Guns 24, the leading global competition to celebrate creative professionals age 30 or younger, which is now open for entry;
A special CapCut brief competition as part of the Young Ones Student Awards, one of the world’s most acclaimed competitive showcases for advertising, digital communication, and design students, with the chance for them to earn a prestigious One Show Pencil, ADC Cube, Type Directors Club TDC Award or Portfolio Award;
Serving as the presenting partner of The One Show 2027 Creative Use of AI discipline;
A series of in-person and virtual creative events, and a related creator content series, to be announced shortly.
The partnership represents an expansion of The One Club’s successful relationship with ByteDance.
It follows TikTok’s 2023 founding partnership of The One Club’s ground-breaking ONE Creator Lab, the industry’s first and only tuition-free program to help content creators learn the skills required to launch their careers in the advertising and marketing industry. TikTok also partnered with the club last year for the inaugural One Show Best Use of TikTok award.
Also in 2026, the club’s ADC Annual Awards formed an exclusive partnership with Dreamina AI for the free ADC AI Visual Design-Dreamina AI category dedicated to honoring the frontier of generative craft.
“As AI becomes an increasingly important part of the creative process, this partnership brings together our shared commitment to championing exceptional work and the people pushing creativity forward,” said Adam Izen, Chief Awards Officer at The One Club. “We’re thankful to the team at CapCut and look forward to working with them to help define what creative excellence looks like in the age of AI.”
