BARC India has released the highly anticipated viewership data of the news channels for the vote counting day in Gujarat and Himachal Pradesh.
On Thursday, December 8, India TV retained the top slot during counting hours: 6 am – 12 noon
India TV was at the top with a 17.1. % Market share among 10 channels (Source BARC Wk 49, Rolled data, HSM, TG: 15+, Weekday: Thursday, Time Band: 6 am – 12 noon).
Aaj Tak was at No. 2 with a 14.8% market share followed by News18 India with a 13.5% market share.
TV9 Bharatvarsh was at No. 4 with a market share of 11.3%.
Republic Bharat was at No. 5 with a market share of 9.4%.
ABP garnered a 9.3% market share and fared at No. 6.
Navbharat was at No. 7 with a 7.4% market share followed by Good News Today with a market share of 6.7%.
News 24 was at No. 9 with a market share of 6.7%.
News Nation was at No. 10 with a 3.9% market share.
