As the TATA IPL 2025 battle reaches its business end, JioStar has partnered with Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) in a campaign that pays tribute to the relentless support of fans for the franchise over the past 18 seasons. The campaign promo features an unassuming young boy stepping into a green room to get an autograph from his favourite RCB cricketers, Virat Kohli, Rajat Patidar, and Bhuvaneshwar Kumar on his prized jersey. His mesmerized demeanour soon turns to surprise as Virat Kohli asks him for an autograph instead, setting the backdrop for the campaign message of heroing the franchise’s fans and their relentless support over the years.
The campaign pays ode to fans of the franchise who have unconditionally stood by RCB through highs and lows, by soliciting their digital autographs to be printed on the RCB 2025 season jersey. The core thought is founded in the premise that for 18 seasons fans have sought after and treasured autographs from the players, but this season RCB seeks to give it back to them by seeking their support instead. Over one lakh fans have participated by sending their signatures so far as RCB players were presented with fan autographs on their respective jerseys. The campaign comes amidst RCB’s bid to lift their first-ever TATA IPL title and aims to rally support from their fanbase, heading into the play-offs.
