NDTV has announced the appointment of Sucherita Kukreti as Senior Executive Editor & Prime Time Anchor, NDTV India.
A highly respected bilingual anchor, Sucherita brings over two decades of experience in television journalism. She has helmed prominent Hindi debates and English prime-time shows, earning recognition for her clarity, presence, and ability to navigate complex issues with balance and conviction. Her career began at India TV, where she quickly rose to prominence for her sharp and credible reporting. She later joined Republic Bharat for her second stint in 2019, anchoring the flagship debate show Mahabharat and establishing herself as one of the most recognisable faces in Hindi television news.
Her bilingual fluency has set her apart in the industry, allowing her to anchor both Hindi debates and English broadcasts with equal authority — a versatility few anchors command. This ability to move seamlessly between two languages has given her a rare connection with audiences across diverse segments.
An alumna of Sri Venkateswara College, University of Delhi, with a degree in English Literature, Sucherita combines academic grounding with newsroom agility. She was honoured with the Dadasaheb Phalke Film Foundation Award for excellence in journalism, a testament to her impact and credibility. Known for her warmth and collaborative spirit, she is respected by colleagues and admired by viewers alike.
