Kerala based Maitri Advertising Works has once again emerged as one of the standout agencies in the country, securing major wins across the ABBYs and Kyoorius Creative Awards 2026.
At the ABBYs, held during Goafest 2026, the agency won three Silver ABBYs and a Bronze. The wins included two Silvers for Kappa CULTR in the categories Best Integrated Design Campaign and Craft in Design for Use of Mixed Media, along with a Silver in the Health category for the anti-drug awareness campaign Got Stuff. The agency also picked up a Bronze in the Social Content and Influencer category.
The momentum continued at the Kyoorius Creative Awards, where Maitri picked up three Elephants and two Baby Elephants across design, craft, and integrated communication categories for campaigns created for clients including Mathrubhumi and BGMI.
Commenting on the recognition, Raju Menon, MD, Maitri Advertising Works, said: “What makes this especially meaningful is seeing ideas from Kerala enter national conversations without losing their cultural identity. These recognitions at ABBYs and Kyoorius are encouraging not just for us, but for Kerala’s creative community as a whole.”
M. V. Shreyams Kumar, Managing Director of Mathrubhumi added: “At Mathrubhumi, we have always believed communication should do more than capture attention. As a media institution and a thought leader brand, we see it as our responsibility to create work that sparks thought, builds awareness, and contributes meaningfully to society. Our creative partner, Maitri, for over two decades, has been instrumental in translating that vision into ideas and bringing them to life.”
“Our partnership with Maitri was built on bold ideas and sharp cultural insight. It’s exciting to see the work being recognised across platforms like the ABBYs and Kyoorius.”
Srinoy Das, Director of Marketing and BGMI Product Management, KRAFTON India “In many of these coveted awards that we have been winning , many a time, the crux of the ideas come from the younger lot and the seniors help craft them. Reason why we see a lot of heroes than a super hero in Maitri”, said C. Muthu, Chairman, Maitri Advertising Works.
Over the years, Maitri Advertising Works has built a reputation for crafting campaigns that blend popular culture, regional insight, and contemporary storytelling. The latest wins once again position the Kerala based agency among India’s most awarded independent creative networks this year.
Our clients have always encouraged innovative and creative ideas and this encourages us at Maitri to raise the bar every time. So it is this remarkable client agency relationship that results in relevant communication that is almost always impactful. It makes us doubly glad that the work is rewarded with awards as well.- Venugopal R, Ideation Director, Maitri Advertising Works.
