IRS 2019 Q3 : HT Media Group publications maintain dominance and continue making strides

IRS 2019 Q3 results reaffirm the trust of print readers in all HT Media group publications Hindustan Times, Hindustan and Mint.

HT continues to dominate Delhi-NCR, Punjab and is a strong No. 2 in Mumbai In-line with the growing trust in print, Hindustan Times continues to make strides in all the major markets, which validates the faith of the readers who have made it the No. 1 daily in Delhi-NCR, the No. 1 daily in Punjab including Chandigarh and a strong No. 2 in Mumbai.

In Delhi-NCR, Hindustan Times continues to be the undisputed No. 1 newspaper for the 18th time and is the most read daily with 1.7 million readers (Average Issue Readership i.e AIR) while the closest competitor, Times of India, is at 1.4 million readers.

HT continues to strengthen its presence in Punjab and has emerged the No. 1 newspaper of the region yet again with AIR of 352,000. In Mumbai, HT is a strong No. 2 with AIR of 859,000. Hindustan wins yet again with 5.13 Cr readers in IRS

Hindustan continues its dominance amongst all Hindi dailies yet again in Bihar with TR of 1.51 Cr readers including No.1 in Patna city with TR of 6.3 Lacs. In Uttarakhand as well, Hindustan continues to hold its No.1 position with Average Issue Readership (AIR) of 8 lacs.

It has yet again emerged as the 2nd most read newspaper in Jharkhand with TR of 39 lacs, in Delhi with TR of 21 lacs and continues to be strong in Uttar Pradesh with Total Readership of 2.73 Cr.

Mint continues to be India’s no. 2 business daily on AIR With a readership of 314,000 premium readers, Mint consolidated its No. 2 position among the leading business dailies in India yet again.
