Zee Cinema – The World’s Largest Theatre of Hindi Movies presents the World Television Premiere of ‘Baar Baar Dekho’ on Saturday, 21st January at 8 PM.
Directed by Nitya Mehra, starring the handsome and suave Sidharth Malhotra along with the gorgeous Katrina Kaif, the film revolves around childhood sweethearts all set to get married.
Zee Cinema undertook a series of innovative marketing initiatives to promote the World Television Premiere of Baar Baar Dekho. Kick-starting the campaign, the channel organized ‘The Kaala Chashma Bike Rally’ to celebrate the biggest chartbuster of 2016. This activity saw 50 bikers with women pillion riders, dressed in bridal attire rallying around Mumbai and Delhi across key locations grooving to Kaala Chashma and other songs of the movie. Adding to the razzmatazz, a special canter with the Kaala Chasma installation also accompanied the rally. Newly married small screen couple Kishwer and Suyyash flagged off the event in Mumbai. They grooved to the song with audiences at various hotspots in Mumbai and handed out Kala Chashmas to the winners of spur-of-the-moment contests carried out.
Also, Zee Cinema introduced a 5-day outdoor teaser campaign followed by a 5-day innovation with a life-sized Kaala Chashma at prime locations in Mumbai. The installation had the video of Kaala Chashma being played within the frames with the actors grooving to the beats.
But that’s not all. The marketing blitzkerg spills over to the digital media as well with the channel putting forth an engaging social media activity. Zee Cinema is asking its loyalists to dedicate any song from the album to their dear ones tagging the channel on social media. During the telecast of the movie on Zee Cinema on 21st January, few lucky dedicated messages will be featured live on national television during the songs. Zee Cinema will also have a specially curated ‘Kaala Chashma’ themed during the premiere.
Baar Baar Dekho is the story of Jai Verma (Sidharth Malhotra) and Diya Kapoor (Katrina Kaif), who are all set to get married. Just a day before their marriage, Jai chooses to reconsider his decision leaving Diya heartbroken.
