Enjoy your vacation with Summer Holiday Film Festival from 14th to 20th May
The most awaited time of the year is here! With a long summer vacation knocking at the door, &pictures – Naye India Ka Blockbuster Movie Channel – presents a week-long Summer Holiday Film Festival from Sunday, 14th May to Saturday, 20th May at 12 PM. This summer is going to get jollier and more enjoyable with some of the best animation movies on your television screens.
Kick-starting the festival will be the all-time favourite Stuart Little on Sunday, 14th May. A story of an adopted mouse, Stuart, who is not welcomed by his brother George and the family cat Snowbell, this film was the first installment of the Stuart Little franchise. The heart-warming tale of love and friendship between three different creatures is what makes the film a classic watch. Next in line is comedy-adventure film Norm Of The North on Monday, 15th May. Based on the subject of humans taking over the natural habitat of animals, this film is centered on the life of a polar bear named Norm, who has the ability to speak to humans. When Mr. Greene, a rich man, plans to build houses in the Artic, Norm takes help from his friends- three lemmings and a human named Olympia Brighty to save his habitat.
Stuart Little 2, the second film of the franchise follows next in line on Tuesday, 16th May. The movie revolves around Stuart still having trouble fitting in the family. It moves ahead in time when his brother George has made a new friend, leaving him alone. Stuart’s life takes a turn when a little canary named Margalo drops into Stuart’s mini-car while escaping from the villainous Falcon starting a chase between them. Get ready for some action next with G. I. Joe: Retaliation on Wednesday, 17th May. The story starts when the leader of the G.I. Joe Unit is framed for criminal activities against the nation and another enemy takes all the world leaders under his control to use their deadly war weapons harming innocent people. Raising the adventure bar comes next The Monkey King 2 on Friday, 19th May. An adaptation of the 16th century classic novel ‘Journey to the West’, the film traces the adventurous and interesting journey of a young Buddhist monk.
And last but not the least, the Summer Holiday Film Festival concludes with the Hindi Television Premiere of fantasy-adventure film The BFG on Saturday, 20th May. A story of an orphan girl befriending a giant, this film is directed by the Steven Spielberg. Fondly called as the Big Friendly Giant, he helps her stop the havoc that man-eating giants create by invading the human world.
