Haseena Parkar, essayed by Shraddha Kapoor is all set to make its World Television Premiere on &pictures, Naye India Ka Blockbuster Movie Channel, on Satuday, 20th January at 8 PM.
Directed by Apoorva Lakhia, the movie is a tale of revenge, family feuds, gang wars and decodes the life and criminal activities of India’s most wanted fugitive – Dawood Ibrahim’s late sister Haseena Parkar, who allegedly headed her brother’s crime syndicate in Mumbai and ran proxy business for him. Haseena Parkar also features Shraddha Kapoor’s brother, Siddhanth Kapoor portraying the role of Dawood Ibrahim while Ankur Bhatia plays the role of Haseena’s husband, Ibrahim Parkar.
As Haseena’s brother turns into a notorious goon in the underworld, his number of enemies also increase rapidly. One of Dawood’s enemies murders Ibrahim Parkar to dislodge the don’s standing in the world of crime. On the other hand, the 1993 serial bomb blasts in Mumbai send shockwaves across the globe. Haseena’s brother is named as one of the masterminds behind the heinous crime. However, Dawood escapes to Dubai and Haseena falls into trouble. This is when she realizes that she can no longer be a victim – she hits back and arises as ‘aapa’ and takes over the mantle from her brother.
Haseena Parkar (Shraddha Kapoor) visits the court in relation to the 88 cases registered against her for her liaisons with the D-Company and her brother Dawood Ibrahim. However,Haseena claims that she is not included in the process of extortion and shares the story about her whole life; from childhood to middle age, from one of the many children of a modest police constable to a child bride who tragically becomes a widow too soon, becoming a grandmother, a godmother and a suspect in the bomb blasts that rocked Bombay in 1993.
