The South Indian Bank Limited is delighted to announce the appointment of Mr. Dolphy Jose as Whole-time Director (Executive Director) of the Bank effective from 15th July 2024.
Mr. Dolphy Jose is an accomplished banker with over 25 years of experience in the financial sector. His extensive expertise encompasses Retail and Commercial Banking, including Retail assets and liabilities, Branch Banking, P&L Management, and Institutional & Government Business. Known for his strategic acumen, Mr. Jose has a proven track record in building robust distribution channels, establishing strategic partnerships, and leveraging digital capabilities to drive business growth.
Prior to this, Mr. Jose has held significant roles, most notably his nearly two-decade-long association with Kotak Mahindra Bank Ltd., where he rose to the position of Executive Vice President – Institutional Business (Retail Liabilities). He was also associated with The Karur Vysya Bank as Chief General Manager & Group Head-Consumer Banking, where he demonstrated exceptional leadership and expertise.

Mr. Jose is a seasoned professional with a diverse educational background, including a Professional Program in Fintech: Specialisation – Payments & Lending from SP Jain School of Global Management, an MBA in General Management from the Institute for Technology & Management, complemented with a specialized Certificate Program in IT & Cyber Security for Senior Management from IDRBT, a General Management Program from IIM Ahmedabad, an Executive Program from ISB Hyderabad, a Certified Course in Computer Programming from BITS Mumbai, alongside a degree in Commerce.
