Radiodays Asia announces more speakers

The organizers of Radiodays Asia have released details of more speakers they have added to the program for 2023:

June Pang, head of Malaysia media measurement at GfK, Malaysia. Pang explores new opportunities to raise the bar for radio measurement in Malaysia. In this role, she also provides insights about Malaysian radio listener behavior based on data from radio audience measurement surveys.

Paul Amos, managing director, Xtra Insights, the sole provider of radio audience measurement in regional Australia. Amos has a long association with the media industry, including positions in programming, production, promotions and marketing. Since 2003 he has developed Xtra Insights into a successful entertainment research company working with some of the leading radio groups, television networks and music labels worldwide.

Christian Schalt, chief digital officer for RTL and general manager of Germany’s Digital Media Hub. Schalt oversees RTL’s digital audio activities on a strategic, technological and content level. This includes podcasts, radio and audio technology. Before RTL, he held several management positions at major radio stations in Berlin and Vienna.

James Cridland, radio futurologist and editor of the daily podcast newsletter, Podnews. Cridland is a writer, consultant and public speaker on radio’s future and has worked in audio since 1989 as an award-winning copywriter, radio presenter and internet strategist.

Kym Treasure, CEO and founder of Audacia Audio — the largest independent audio ad network in JAPAC. Treasure is a marketing and digital advertising enthusiast with a passion for programmatic audio advertising and a strong desire to work alongside inspiring influencers. She champions a growth mindset and is dedicated to driving the audio industry forward.

Deb Hishon, media measurement director, GfK, Australia and New Zealand. Hishon has worked on radio audience measurement contracts for 20 years and in media research for almost 25. During this time, she has acquired a deep knowledge of the media and radio industries in both Australia and New Zealand. Part of her role is assisting clients in using radio ratings and providing additional qualitative and quantitative data to guide them with their strategic direction, from programming to product management to aid revenue and audience growth.
