The Times of India Metro Supplements has launched GRID OF THE UNSEEN, a new cultural IP created to spotlight emerging artistic voices and build a stronger cultural conversation across its platforms.
Launched on World Art Day 2026 in collaboration with STRT91, the initiative aims to create meaningful visibility for artists whose work often exists beyond traditional galleries and mainstream cultural spaces.
The launch features a striking full-page showcase across the Times of India Metro Supplements, marking the beginning of a larger, long-term cultural property that will evolve across print, digital, and on-ground experiences.
Designed as a discovery-led platform, GRID OF THE UNSEEN seeks to bridge culture, creativity, and community by introducing readers to fresh artistic perspectives and giving emerging creators a larger stage to be seen and celebrated.
Reflecting on the shared vision, Imran Shamsi, Founder, STRT91 and What Works said: “At STRT91, we believe the most honest creativity comes from the streets. Not from perfect spaces or industry circles, but from people obsessed with making something real. Everybody talks about supporting emerging artists once they blow up. We back them while they’re still building. Thanks to Bombay Times’ Grid of the Unseen, we could recognize the artists pushing culture forward long before the spotlight finds them”
Future editions will continue to feature artists across various styles and disciplines, with integrated digital extensions that allow audiences to explore each creator’s body of work in greater depth.
Speaking about the launch, Sivakumar Sundaram, CEO, Bennett, Coleman & Co.Ltd., said: “GRID OF THE UNSEEN is our effort to build a stronger cultural voice for The Times of India Metro Supplements while creating meaningful spaces for emerging talent. There is incredible creative work waiting to be discovered, and this platform is designed to celebrate exactly that.”
With GRID OF THE UNSEEN, the Times of India Metro Supplements continues to expand its cultural footprint by creating trend-forward, community-driven properties that connect deeply with contemporary audiences and creators alike.
