Selva Prabu has been promoted to Director – Content Marketing -Tamil Business (JioHotstar & Star Vijay) at JioStar.
Announcing the new role on his LinkedIn profile , Selva said, “Excited to share that I’ve taken on a new role as Director – Content Marketing – Tamil Business (JioHotstar & Star Vijay) at JioStar and is excited about the road ahead .”
His expanded role includes driving content-led marketing strategies across JioStar’s Tamil portfolio, with a focus on strengthening audience engagement, brand equity, and integrated campaign execution across platforms.
Prabu served earlier as Senior Manager, Marketing at JioStar, where he worked across campaigns, partnerships and content positioning. His earlier stint included The Hindu Group, where Prabu handled brands including BusinessLine, Sportstar, Frontline and The Hindu Lounge. He also worked earlier with Wan-Ifra, Ogilvy and Mphasis.
