Zurich Kotak General Insurance Company (India) Limited today announced the appointment of Birendra Mohanty as its Chief Business Officer (CBO). In his new role, Birendra will oversee Bancassurance (including Banca Digital), Financial Institutions Group (FIG), SME, Institutional & Government Business.

Birendra is an expert insurance professional with over two decades of experience in Agency and Broking, SME, and Bancassurance. He has sharpened his skills through long tenures in various roles at ICICI Lombard GIC, where his leadership in expanding sales channels and driving customer-focused solutions was widely recognized.
He will play a crucial role in improving the sales and distribution framework at Zurich Kotak General Insurance as the company aims to scale new heights and deliver best-in-class insurance solutions to customers across India.
