Kappa CULTR, Kerala’s biggest electronic music festival, has unveiled the official Kappa CULTR ’26 Aftermovie, a cinematic celebration of the music, art, culture, and community that defined this year’s festival at Bolgatty Palace Grounds, Kochi.
Capturing the unforgettable moments from three immersive days, the aftermovie brings together electrifying performances, spectacular stage production, vibrant crowd energy, contemporary art, culinary experiences, fashion, and interactive spaces that made Kappa CULTR 2026 one of India’s most distinctive festival experiences.
More than a festival recap, the film is a tribute to the thousands of music lovers, artists, creators, and collaborators who came together to create an unforgettable celebration of electronic music and contemporary culture.
The festival featured 27 global and homegrown artists performing across two live stages, representing a diverse spectrum of electronic music, including melodic house and techno, progressive house, hypnotic techno, drum & bass, and psytrance.
Beyond music, Kappa CULTR continued to redefine the festival experience through a multidisciplinary cultural program. CULTR ART transformed the venue into an evolving visual landscape through contemporary installations and immersive artworks, inviting exploration and interaction.
The festival also celebrated creativity across multiple disciplines. CULTR Food, curated by Alex Jo Scaria, showcased Kochi’s rich coastal culinary heritage alongside global flavours. CULTR Fashion, led by Strada Sutairer, explored fashion as a powerful form of identity and self-expression through curated designer showcases, pop-ups, and immersive styling experiences across the festival grounds. Meanwhile, CULTR Games, curated by Versus Arcade Games, introduced interactive gaming zones that further enriched the festival’s immersive ecosystem.
The Kappa CULTR ’26 Aftermovie is now live on the Kappa CULTR YouTube channel.

Mayura Shreyams Kumar, Festival Founder & Director, Digital Business, Mathrubhumi Group, said, ” What sets Kappa CULTR apart is its multidisciplinary soul. In directing this film, we wanted to ensure the art installations, fashion, and culinary stories were framed with as much intensity as the headlining sets. Every frame is a tribute to the thousands of festivalgoers and creators who transformed the venue into a living, breathing canvas.”
Devika Shreyams Kumar, Festival Founder & Director, Operations, Mathrubhumi Group, said, “Every festival leaves behind memories that are impossible to recreate. With the CULTR aftermovie, we wanted to capture the spirit of those three days—the music, the art, the food, the arcade games, and, above all, the incredible people and shared energy that transformed Bolgatty Palace into something truly special. More than a recap, we hope this film preserves a feeling.
