In its latest offering, Zee Cinema, the world’s largest theatre for Hindi movies, is all set to premiere the musical drama Rock On 2 on 26th February, Sunday at 9 PM. A sequel to the blockbuster hit Rock On!!, the film stars Farhan Akhtar, Arjun Rampal, Purab Kohli along with Shraddha Kapoor and Shashank Arora.
Speaking about the television premiere, Arjun Rampal commented “It’s a great feeling when your film gets a platform that completely resonates with your audience. I am sure that the audience will love watching the film on Zee Cinema, and will continue loving us. I am sure that Magik, the band, will recreate the magic again on television.”
Much has changed since the boys stormed the stage last. Life’s reality has clasped them into a corner. Jolted by a disaster, Aditya (Farhan Akhtar) is now seeking redemption in the hills and Joe (Arjun Rampal) is numbed by the mediocrity in his well settled job. KD (Purab Kohli) hopes for a reunion which doesn’t seem possible. Enter Jiah (Shraddha Kapoor) and Uday (Shashank Arora), promising yet untapped talents for which Magik regains a purpose. With newer members, they come together to do what they are best at – creating music.
Will they be able to recreate the bonding?
