Just when TV viewers across the nation began wondering about what to do with their evenings post-IPL, Star Gold doled out a global-first initiative that is sure to keep audiences glued to their TV screens. Star Gold will begin showcasing a new movie premiere every day with its month long premiere marathon, ‘Har Raat Ek Naya Premiere’.
From 3rd June, the channel will be showcasing a new premiere every night at 8PM. ‘Har Raat Ek Naya Premiere’ offers an eclectic mix of movies from different genres, from romance to action to crime and thriller. The property has a stellar line-up of movies from across the country; to name a few: Vivegam, Hello, Vikram Vedha, VIP2.
To launch this unique concept on Indian television, Star Gold has launched its marketing campaign ‘Aaj Raat Naya Kya Hai?’ Currently on air, the campaign has a series of amusing TV commercials in which a simple, socially-awkward man ends up questioning people about their plans that night in delicate, uncomfortable situations with his innocent but situationally inappropriate line ‘Aaj raat naya kya hai?’ This endearing campaign also has an interesting digital leg planned that is all set to break out soon.
