On confronting the couples, the channel learnt that they were misguided by the ambulance driver and admitted her to a nursing home to extort money from them, the channel unravelled the truth. Incidentally, they were charged some Rs. 3 lacs, which was beyond any means of a migrant labour.
The patient, hailing from Dinajpur, was referred to Malda government hospital. In an attempt to deceive the couple, the broker admitted that there would be the mother in a nursing home. When TV9 Bangla revealed the nexus between the broker and the owner of the nursing home, our Correspondents were attacked. TV9 Bangla expose corruption prevalent in the society and stood beside the poor couple, we once again proved our commitment.
