DeVries Global, an international communications firm specializing in consumer marketing with offices across the U.S., Asia and Europe, today announced the appointment of Roman Kibe to Regional Vice President, Social Strategy, Asia. In this newly-created role, Kibe will be responsible for building the region’s center of excellence for influencer communications and creative integrated campaigns while enhancing the agency’s overall digital and social offering. He will report to Andres Vejarano, DeVries Global’s, Regional Managing Director, Asia.
Roman joins from Lewis Pulse where he managed digital operations for the APAC region. During his tenure, he was instrumental in the acquisition of the Peninsula Group Hotels, Porsche and Sabre accounts and also oversaw the day-to-day management of the agency’s BBC Earth and Invisalign accounts. Prior to that, he led the digital practice at Edelman, Hong Kong. There he contributed to award-winning campaigns for IKEA and Samsung and enhanced social strategies for ZTE, Tencent, HP and Cartier. Kibe also brings client side experience to his role, having worked for Universal Music Group where he managed the Disney Music repertoire and social media campaigns for artists including Lady Gaga, Taylor Swift and Gwen Stefani.
