Twenty-five years after Chhattisgarh came into existence, the state stands at a defining intersection of progress and possibility. The NDTV Chhattisgarh Conclave: 25 Saal Bemisaal, on November 21 at the Hotel Marriott, Raipur, will set out to examine this – assembling policymakers, administrators, industry leaders, and cultural figures for a comprehensive review of what the state has achieved and the direction it must take next for its journey ahead.
The conclave will begin with a high-level, insightful conversation with Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai. It will also see the presence of former Chief Minister Dr. Raman Singh – two leaders whose experience and perspectives will frame the state’s governance story. Their participation will outline the priorities and long-term strategies shaping Chhattisgarh’s development at the 25-year mark.
Further political insights will be offered by Deputy Chief Ministers Vijay Sharma and Arun Sao, who will discuss the evolving administrative vision under the frameworks of Rajat Jayanti: Swarnim Sapne and Chhattisgarh Unlimited. A governance-focused conversation featuring TS Singhdeo will explore policy direction, administrative delivery, and the long-term reforms required to strengthen the state’s development agenda.
A significant part of the conclave will be dedicated to economic direction and entrepreneurial growth. Satish Thorani, President of the Chhattisgarh Chamber of Commerce and Industries; Dr. Rajaram Tripathi, farmer-scientist and leader in agro-innovation; and Dr. Ila Gupta, State President of the Mahila Chamber, will discuss the priorities necessary to build a resilient, inclusive, and future-ready business ecosystem.
The cultural and social identity of the state will also be in focus. The conclave will feature discussions with Anuj Sharma, actor and director; Ramakant Mishra, historian and cultural researcher; Madvi Satyendra, Padma Shri–recipient and noted Gond artist from Bastar; and Mamta Chandrakar, acclaimed folk singer. Their session will highlight Chhattisgarh’s artistic heritage, traditional practices, and the cultural strengths that contribute to the state’s distinct identity.
Through its varied conversations and sectoral panels, the NDTV Chhattisgarh Conclave: 25 Saal Bemisaal aims to provide a balanced, detailed, and forward-looking assessment of the state at 25 years.
