From emoji to live stream, automotive fans around the world will be able to enjoy real-time highlights from Auto Expo on Twitter
With India positioned as the fourth largest auto market in the world, the country’s passion for cars is without question. Twitter is proud to announce today a collaboration with SIAM (Society of Indian Automobile Manufactures) for the Auto Expo 2018, taking place on Feb 7 – 14. As part of the collaboration, Twitter will be hosting a special #BlueRoom pop-up show onsite, live stream highlights from the Auto Expo, and make available a custom Auto Expo emoji for automotive fans to share what’s happening.
For the first time in Asia, Twitter is launching an emoji for an automotive show with the Auto Expo 2018. The emoji is available from now until Feb 28.
Twitter will be hosting a #BlueRoom pop-up show to report live on what’s happening at Auto Expo 2018. Automotive fans can watch out for #BlueRoom guests who will include artistes rock band @Parikarma and guitarist Dhruv (@mrdhruvv).
In addition, several automotive brands will be gearing up for Auto Expo to engage their audiences on Twitter too. Hero Moto Corp, Mahindra & Mahindra, Tata Motors and Maruti Suzuki will be live streaming their showcase at the Auto Expo on Twitter, extending the reach of their new launches to automotive fans around the world. Tata Motors (@TataMotors) will also feature live Q&A interaction with artistes rock band @Parikarma and guitarist Dhruv (@mrdhruvv), a live performance onsite and video highlights on Twitter. In addition, Kia (@KiaMotorsIn) will be launching their presence in India with a Direct Message (DM) automation feature on Twitter.
