The Express Adda returned to Delhi on Tuesday, October 18, 2016, with a very special guest who needs no introduction. Swami Ramdev, Spiritual Leader and Yoga Guru, was our special guest at Express Adda, held at The Kila, New Delhi. A telegenic face and a household name in the country, Swami Ramdev straddles many worlds, from yoga to ayurveda, business to politics.
In a far reaching conversation that was moderated by Anant Goenka, Executive Director, The Express Group and Vandita Mishra, National Opinion Editor, The Indian Express, Swami Ramdev shared his views on a gamut of topics – from his fascination with politics, to the recent terrorist attacks in Uri; from why the nation should boycott Chinese goods to sharing his views on the ban on Pakistanis actors in India. The founder of Patanjali Ayurveda, also spoke about Patanjali’s impressive expansion plans as it forays into the dairy and textile industry.
He engaged with audiences, with his candid responses to questions on health, yoga, religion, global economics and more.
