NewsFirst’s EVready Brings Karnataka’s EV Ecosystem to Bengaluru

NewsFirst’s EVready Brings Karnataka’s EV Ecosystem to Bengaluru

As India’s electric mobility ecosystem accelerates toward large-scale adoption, EVready emerges as a timely platform designed to bring the industry and consumers onto a shared platform.

EVready is an eco-friendly initiative by News First, Karnataka’s biggest news brand across television and digital platforms, and supported by the Ministry of Heavy Industries (MHI).

EVready brings together manufacturers, policymakers, industry bodies and consumers at a time when India’s electric mobility transition is entering a decisive phase.

Electric mobility in India has moved beyond early pilots and limited adoption cycles. The sector is now shaped by policy alignment, capital investment, localisation efforts and growing consumer acceptance spanning two wheelers, passenger vehicles and commercial fleets. As the market expands, platforms that connect industry capability with public engagement are becoming increasingly relevant.

The B2C electric mobility expo will be held from 21 to 23 February 2026 at Tripura Vasini, Palace Grounds, Bengaluru. Entry to the exhibition will be free, reinforcing its consumer facing orientation.

Positioned as Karnataka’s largest EV Expo, EVready will combine policy dialogue with strong consumer engagement elements designed to accelerate electric mobility adoption at scale.

In addition to participation from leading electric mobility manufacturers and ecosystem stakeholders, the three day exhibition will feature a Daily Lucky Draw offering electric two wheelers as prizes for registered visitors, strengthening its direct consumer connect.

Visitors will also benefit from special rates on spot bookings, enabling immediate purchase decisions supported by exclusive expo offers from participating brands.

A large on-ground Test Drive Zone will enable attendees to experience electric two-wheelers and electric four-wheeler passenger vehicle models in controlled conditions, offering hands-on exposure to performance, safety features, and operating economics.

EVready will receive strong television and digital amplification across NewsFirst’s television and digital platforms, ensuring sustained visibility for participating brands and deeper public outreach across Karnataka.

Leading electric mobility OEMs including Tata EV, Tata Commercial Vehicles, Mahindra Electric Automobile, Mahindra Last Mile Mobility, Ashok Leyland, Switch Mobility, Kia India, JSW MG Motor India and TVS Motor Company will participate in the expo. The line up also includes a broader mix of leading Indian and international EV brands, charging infrastructure firms, battery companies and component suppliers.

Karnataka at the forefront of the EV Revolution

Karnataka has emerged as one of India’s more active electric mobility markets and a significant base for manufacturing, research and charging infrastructure deployment. Bengaluru continues to attract EV startups, battery technology ventures and clean mobility innovation.

The exhibition will feature electric two wheelers, three wheelers, four wheelers and commercial mobility solutions. Public transport electrification initiatives, fleet and cargo applications, charging infrastructure providers and component manufacturers will also be represented.

Unlike closed industry forums, the expo is structured as a public platform. Test rides and on ground interaction will allow visitors to assess vehicle performance, safety parameters and cost economics in practical conditions.

Policy, Adoption and the Road Ahead

Beyond product display, EVready will host structured discussions spanning national policy, market adoption, urban sustainability and long term ecosystem development.

The inaugural session will focus on the Government of India’s electric mobility vision and policy framework, outlining the national roadmap, incentive mechanisms and long term targets shaping the sector.

A subsequent discussion on EV adoption in India will emphasize market readiness, infrastructure gaps, cost barriers and growth drivers influencing expansion across segments.

On 22 February, a session on sustainable mobility in Bengaluru will address urban air quality, congestion management and the role of the electric ecosystem in reducing emissions. A separate panel titled EV Myths versus Reality will examine concerns related to battery life, safety, resale value and total cost of ownership.

The final day will turn to future opportunities, including education and skill development in electric mobility, industry academia collaboration, incubation ecosystems and student-led innovation. A concluding discussion will focus on the Government of Karnataka’s plans to accelerate electric mobility deployment at the state level.

Industry bodies such as the Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers (SIAM) and the Automotive Component Manufacturers Association of India (ACMA) will participate in these discussions, contributing manufacturer and supplier perspectives.

As India advances toward its Viksit Bharat 2047 ambitions, coordinated action between government, industry and eco conscious consumers will remain central to scaling electric mobility.

EVready seeks to provide a platform for that engagement while reinforcing Karnataka’s role in India’s transition toward cleaner transport.
