MEC Global Solutions, the international arm of global media agency MEC, has appointed Chien-Wen Tong as its first Head of Digital Strategy. Chien-Wen will be responsible for driving digital innovation and strategy across the whole of business, and will report into Jeff Hyams, Chief Digital Officer.
Having completed the highly competitive WPP MBS Fellowship Program, Chien-Wen brings with her a wealth of expertise in delivering effective digital strategies, coupled with a passion for executing creative work that delivers real business impact. Under the WPP program Chien-Wen spent time at OgilvyOne Worldwide, J Walter Thompson (JWT) and also MEC, leading digital development for a range of global brands including Unilever, Chanel, KitKat and British Airways. Most recently, Chien-Wen served as Strategy Director at the global digital agency, Possible Worldwide.
Speaking on the appointment, Jeff Hyams said: “Over the last year we have been building a strong experienced team of digital specialists and this role is the next step in the journey.
