Starbucks India announced the opening of its newest coffee experiential store in Abhiramapuram, Chennai, a destination designed to bring customers closer to coffee than ever before. Every element of the store journey celebrates Starbucks deep coffee heritage and expertise, creating an immersive environment where discovery, connection, and craftsmanship come alive.
The design of the store tells a story of coffee at every step, creating an atmosphere that goes far beyond function. Warm interiors, layered textures, and thoughtfully crafted lighting come together to guide customers seamlessly through the space, transforming each touchpoint into an immersive part of the coffee journey.
A New Chapter for Coffee in Chennai, with Flavours rooted in India
Chennai is a city known for its deep coffee heritage, from steaming filter coffee in steel tumblers to the dessert traditions that punctuate family gatherings. To speak to this palate, Starbucks is bringing India-first flavours into its craft. On the menu are beverages infused with jaggery, coconut, tamarind, chilli and shikanji. The Cinnamon Jaggery Latte, Malabar Coconut Cream Latte, Cocoa Birds Eye Chilli Latte, and Tamarind Red Peroo Shikanji Cold Brew each capture a fragment of India’s culinary imagination.
For the first time ever, Starbucks India will also introduce two new exclusive beverages, available only at the Abhiramapuram coffee experiential store:
Banoffee Latte: A luxurious fusion of bold espresso and velvety steamed milk, delicately layered with indulgent banana sweetness and a hint of caramelized depth. Smooth, rich, and irresistibly creamy, it’s comfort in a cup

With each carefully designed touchpoint, Starbucks newest experiential store brings its mission to life, fostering human connection over coffee, while inspiring customers to see, taste, and experience the bean in new and meaningful ways. At the Brew Bar, guests are invited to explore beans through aroma and taste, discovering how each step of the process shapes what is in their cup guided by expert baristas who bring Starbucks coffee leadership to life.
To further elevate the coffee experience of every coffee enthusiast, the store will also feature the Black Eagle, a sleek, refined, manual espresso machine that provides Coffee Masters full control over every stage of brewing and extraction. This one-of-a-kind equipment allows baristas to personalize each cup with precision.

The store also brings a curated range of coffee beans from celebrated regions around the world. From Kenya to Sumatra and Latin America, the collection includes five espresso choices and thirteen whole bean varieties, such as Starbucks Willow Blend, Starbucks® Single-Origin Zambia, Starbucks® Single-Origin Colombia, Pike Place Roast and Starbucks® House Blend.

The new coffee experiential store at Abhiramapuram, Chennai is open daily from 8AM to 11PM.
