The grand finale of Zee Tamil’s Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Seniors Season 5 was a masterclass in vocal performance. The finale featured two captivating rounds – a Challenge Round, where finalists took on complex and technically demanding songs, followed by a Freestyle Round, allowing them to showcase their individuality and favourite genres. These rounds made for a melodious and high-energy finale that kept both the live audience and television viewers thoroughly entertained.

Since its inception, Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Seniors Season 5 has celebrated some of Tamil Nadu’s finest singing talent, bringing together contestants from across the state and providing them with a platform to shine. The grand finale, held live on 23rd November, saw the six finalists Susanthica, Sapesan, Chinnu Senthamilan, Pavithra, Sreehari, and Shivani, delivered unforgettable performances across diverse genres including classical, melody, and western. Hosted by the ever-energetic Archana Chandhoke and judged by renowned playback singers Karthik, Srinivas, and Shweta Mohan, this season has truly been a celebration of musical mastery and heartfelt performances.

The winner of this season was announced based on a balanced combination of judges’ scores and audience votes, ensuring a fair and deserving result. Adding to the grandeur of the evening, renowned music director Deva and Gangai Amaran graced the occasion as special guests. After a night filled with exceptional music, Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Seniors Season 5 crowned Susanthica as the winner for her exceptional vocals, stage charisma, and deep connection with the audience. Throughout the competition, Susanthica impressed the judges and viewers with consistent brilliance, flawless renditions, and powerful storytelling through music. The winner took home the prestigious trophy along with a brand-new house worth ₹60 lakhs as the winning prize, while Sapesan was declared the first runner-up, and Chinnu Senthamilan the second runner-up. The first runner-up, Sapesan, received ₹10 lakhs, while the second runner-up, Chinnu Senthamilan, was honoured with gold worth ₹3 lakhs. Additionally, the People’s Choice Prize winner, Pavithra, who consistently captivated the audience with impressive performances, took home the special gold prize worth ₹5 lakhs.

Sharing their excitement, Susanthica, the winner of Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Seniors Season 5, said, “The journey has been incredible, and I’m just trying to soak it all in.
