The TOI has announced the launch of its first exhibition that will link together the value chain of sports, fitness, technology, and infrastructure into a single integrated platform through The Times of India Sports, Fitness and Infrastructure (SFI) Expo.
Set to be held in July 2026 in New Delhi, The Times of India SFI Expo offers a new chapter in India’s sporting journey. The exhibition is designed for sports enterprises, infrastructure companies, various government bodies, fitness technology companies, wellness companies, athletes, innovators, and various communities. This exhibition will bring together the entire value chain to promote an inclusive sporting landscape across the country. It will encompass everything from planning and constructing world-class sports facilities to enabling technologically advanced training environments and performance solutions.
Speaking on this initiative, Surinder Chawla, President – Response & Brand Capital, Bennett Coleman & Co. Ltd. (The Times of India) said: “India is entering a dynamic new era. Both traditional and new sports are growing exponentially. Government initiatives such as Khelo India and Fit India are nurturing young athletes and steadily strengthening India’s imprint on the world sporting arena. This exhibition aims to unite stakeholders across the sports value chain and help accelerate India’s journey towards a robust, world-class sporting ecosystem.”
The expo is conceptualised as a collaborative hub for bringing together all the components that define the sports landscape of the present and the future, featuring a showcase of innovations in training, performance, recovery and more. Simultaneously, the expo will enable dialogue, partnership and knowledge exchange among the key stakeholders.
Designed as an annual platform, the expo aims to strengthen collaboration, encourage investment and support the development of a future-ready sports community in the country.
