Housefull Action a new Hindi movie action channel has been launched recently. The channel is already available in DD free dish, this was the channels first move to ensure that even the interiors of HSM market is catered to.
Houseful action is specifically catering to the action hungry audience who are constantly looking for more. The channel will be showcasing best of content from Hollywood, Bollywood &Tollywood. The channel is being marketed by White pixel in association with Swami Films & broadcasted by Triumph media vision pvt. Ltd. (Triumph MVPL)
As per Triumph MVPL , Director-Mr. Sudhir Singh “There is a huge market available for the Action genre and he wants to capitalize on it. We have done our primary research work and the results show us that this market still wants more action”. The channel is clearly looking to garner around 15 to 20 Grp in the first year of launch. “We are not in the number game here, we clearly want to sustain ourselves and be here till the end says Mr. Singh”.
With digitization happening across metros the channel will be generating revenue through Ad sales. “White Pixel who is handling Housefull Action’s marketing and sales clearly feels that they have been getting good response from the market and that people are keen to add more channels in their plans to build frequency”. Currently they are available in Dish, Den, Hathway& Major MSO’s. They are in talks with other MSO’s as well so in the coming couple of months the distribution of the channel will be getting more robust.
The management clearly will be pumping in money to strengthen its distribution as they want visibility across all platforms. Also, the channel will be building its visibility by targeting the trade fraternity & customers directly by giving them regular updates on the channel development and other interesting property that the channel will be acquiring on a regular basis. There are plans of doing on-ground activation and other marketing activities lined up for the next coming months.
