Building on its legacy of emotionally resonant narratives and aspirational formats, the channel proudly presents the return of its celebrated talent-hunt reality show Mahanati Season 2 on June 14th at 7:30 PM and launch of its new fiction drama Karna on June 16th at 8 PM, only on Zee Kannada.

Following the journey of Season 1 winner Priyanka, Mahanati returns to discover and nurture Karnataka’s next leading lady. This unique platform bridges dreams and reality, offering twelve aspiring young women, aged 18-25, an unparalleled opportunity for hands-on training, guided mentorship, and real-time challenges that mirror the demanding yet rewarding path to becoming a star. Contestants will reside in a villa for 18 weeks, immersing themselves in intensive performance-based tasks under the guidance of theatre professionals and industry experts.
Mahanati Season 2 boasts an exceptional judging panel featuring acclaimed actress Nishvika Naidu, evergreen star Prema, and celebrated director Tharun Sudhir, each bringing their unique perspectives and experience. Set against the emotional backdrop of family loyalty and societal expectations, Karna introduces viewers to a heartfelt story of a man torn between duty and desire. At the center of this riveting narrative is Dr. Karna, a renowned gynaecologist known for his empathy and unwavering dedication to the underprivileged. Though raised by the noble Rama Krishna Vasishta after being abandoned as a child, Karna has never truly been embraced as a son.
