Mindshare, the global media agency network, that is part of WPP, has appointed Zaheer Travadi as Partner for Mindshare FAST, South East Asia.
Zaheer brings a unique blend of expertise in digital media, data, and technology in South and South East Asia. He started his career with Mindshare Fulcrum in Mumbai back in 2003, when he pioneered innovative digital and mobile promotions for Unilever’s most iconic brands. He then spent almost a decade at Microsoft and IBM, driving ecosystem development programs and unlocking growth across their strategic business segments.
In 2014, Zaheer re-joined Mindshare as Digital Media Head for Hindustan Unilever. He successfully drove Cannes Lion winning mobile marketing campaigns (Kaan Khajura Tesan), set up Unilever’s first digital media command centre and established Hindustan Unilever as a content marketing leader in the market.
In his last venture with Crayon Data at Singapore, he worked very closely with Mindshare FAST Singapore hub to develop a Programmatic Audience Targeting product. Over the past year, Zaheer has demonstrated thought leadership on using data for marketing in Indonesia, with Crayon’s key clients such as BTPN Jenius and Blibli.com.
In this new role, Zaheer will report into Maneesheel Gautam, Digital Leader of Mindshare South East Asia. He will focus on establishing Mindshare as the champion in digital targeting with data and measurement, enabling the agency’s portfolio of brands to adapt to FAST digital growth models, that are unique to the region.
