Google announced the launch of its official online store in India on Thursday.
Mitul Shah, Managing Director of Google Devices and Services — India, posted on LinkedIn. The Google Store offers direct online sales of the company’s hardware devices, including Pixel phones, watches and earbuds. Shah says, “India’s incredible appetite for meaningful technology energises us. Discerning users seek not just devices, but AI-powered experiences that seamlessly enhance daily life and unlock new possibilities.” And, we’re committed to meeting these evolving aspirations.
Google currently uses authorised retailers and e-commerce platform Flipkart to sell its products in India. It is in the process of identifying locations in India to open its first physical retail store outside the United States.
