The original gangster of wit, satire, and humour is making his grand return to the screen. Cyrus Broacha, the man who pioneered spoof in the news genre, is all set to turn ‘Newscaustic’ on TV9 Network’s popular English news channel, News9.
‘Newscaustic – Let’s Roast with Cyrus Broacha’ — a show that blends sharp news commentary with the trademark irreverent humour that has made Cyrus a household premiered last Friday on News9.
From the week’s biggest headlines to the quirkiest moments in geopolitics, entertainment, lifestyle, and beyond, Cyrus will take viewers on a rollercoaster of laughs and insights.
The excitement was first sparked at the News9 Global Summit, Dubai, on 19th June 2025, where Cyrus Broacha hosted a high-energy panel discussion. It was during this landmark event that TV9 Network officially announced the upcoming launch of Newscaustic with Cyrus Broacha.

The first season of Newscaustic will air every week on News9, available across connected, linear and OTT.
