Indian techie Sriram Krishnan is ‘helping’ Elon Musk with Twitter

Twitter‘s new boss Elon Musk has roped in Chennai-born Indian-American engineer Sriram Krishnan to a core team to effect changes to the social media platform.

Sriram is a former Twitter employee who began his career with Microsoft and is currently a partner at the venture capital firm Andreessen Horowitz (also known by its acronym a16z).He earlier had leadership roles running product and engineering at Twitter, Meta and Snap.

Sriram confirmed the development himself, tweeting, “Now that the word is out: I’m helping out @elonmusk with Twitter temporarily with some other great people.”

Sriram and and his wife Aarthi Ramamuthy are veteran technology execs who host a popular podcast called the Good Time Show that has featured guests like Elon Musk to Mark Zuckerberg to Naomi Osaka to Virgil Abloh to A.R.Rahman to Andrew Yang and much, much more.

Sriram was raised in Chennai and is a graduate of SRM Engineering College, Anna University.
