MakeMyTrip signs the duo to be the face of the brand as it embarks on new phase of growth to catalyze offline to online travel booking behaviour
MakeMyTrip, India’s leading online travel company today announced that it has signed up with leading Bollywood superstars Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt to be the company’s new brand ambassadors. With its target audience getting younger, the company has signed up the duo with the aim to strengthen the brand’s appeal, stature and recall amongst its audience in tier 1 towns and cities across the country, especially the youth. The move is in line with the company’s business strategy focusing on hyper aggressive growth and new user acquisition; thus driving growth for the travel industry at large.
