Shemaroo MarathiBana makes this Diwali special with the release of Baahubali in Marathi

Illustrious names of Marathi entertainment such as Dr. Amol Kolhe, Pravin Tarde, Sonalee Kulkarni, amongst others have lent their voices to the characters

Shemaroo MarathiBana, the ‘Assal Filmy’ Marathi movie TV channel, today announced a festive treat for their Marathi audiences with the Marathi version of the blockbuster action epic franchise, ‘Baahubali’. This Diwali special release will be aired on 4th November exclusively on Shemaroo MarathiBana. With the leading lights of Marathi film and theatre such as Dr. Amol Kolhe, Pravin Tarde, Sonalee Kulkarni, Gashmeer Mahajani, Uday Sabnis, Sanskruti Balgude, and other popular artists lending their voices to the eponymous characters, the film ‘Baahubali’ will come to life in Marathi ensuring a rare treat this Diwali for Shemaroo MarathiBana’s audiences everywhere.

Shemaroo’s attention to detail is evident in the re-creation of the grandiose songs in Marathi. Famed Marathi music director, Kaushal Inamdar has recreated the tracks while not losing the classical instrumentation and gravitas of the original, while popular singers Hamsika Iyer, Avadhoot Gupte, Sanjeev Chimmalgi, Bela Shende, Adarsh Shinde, Hrishikesh Kamerkar, Ketki Mategavkar and Mugddha Karhade have lent their voices to the melodious songs. The songs have been translated to Marathi by famed writer and lyricist Vaibhav Joshi, Milind Joshi & Asmita Pandey ensuring that the original flavour and meaning is retained.
